What is RP Data Property Reports?
RP Data Property Reports is a service provided by RP Data Ltd. RP Data
Ltd is Australia's leading property information provider who has been
servicing the Real Estate industry with up-to-date property information
for more than 10 years.
Where do you source your data from?
Data supplied in our reports is sourced from RP Data Ltd. RP Data Ltd
gathers its data from various sources, including the Valuer General's
office in each state and various publications.
What sort of reports do you offer and how much do they cost?
We offer a number of reports at different prices. You can view our report
types and their respective prices by clicking here.
Do I need any special software installed on my machine?
Our system can be used via Internet Explorer version 6.0 and above or
Netscape versions 6.0 and above. To use our system, you need to have the
above browsers installed and have both Javascript and Cookies enabled.
Our reports are generated in PDF format so you will also need to have
Adobe Acrobat reader installed. Most computers come with these programs
already installed.
How secure is your service?
All credit card transactions are serviced over a secure network. RP Data
Ltd has a Verisign approved site which means you can be confident that
your details are secure and will not be accessed during transmission.
What does the term 'median price' mean?
Median price refers to the middle price when all prices all sorted from
lowest to highest. In the Real Estate industry, the median price is used
because it lessens the impact of uncharacteristically high or low prices.
How are your reports delivered?
All purchased reports, along with a tax invoice, are delivered direct
to your subscribed email address in PDF format. To view your purchased
reports, you need to have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your machine.
What should I do if I don't receive my reports or tax invoice?
Firstly, you should check to see if your mailbox has reached it's allowed
limit. Sometimes, emails are rejected because your mailbox is too full.
Secondly, check to see if you have subscribed with the correct email address.
If all seems to be fine, you can contact our support centre during business
hours or email us at . Please do not re-purchase
the report as this will cause you to be responsible for another charge.
Please have ready your personal details, along with the answer to your
selected question when you registered, your purchased reports criteria
and the date of purchase. We will verify your details and attempt to reproduce
your purchased reports for you. Please contact us within 24 hours of purchase
via email or phone if your reports have still not been recieved.
Where does the Area Profile information come from?
The area profile information comes from the Census conducted by the Australian
Bureau of Statistics. In Australia, the Census is conducted every 5 years.
The area profile's information will be updated when the next Census data
is released.
Why can't I search on my suburb?
If you are unable to find a suburb it could be because the suburb name
you are looking for is an estate name. Please contact our support centre
during business hours or email us at for further
investigation.
Why can't I find my street?
In some states private streets/roads are not listed as such in the Valuer
General's data. Please contact our support centre during business hours
or email us at for further investigation.
Why isn't a sale that occurred 1 or 2 months ago included
in my report?
Each state Valuer General's department takes some time to process and
release sales data. The typical time frame for most states is 3 months.
